A guardianship agreement or guardianship-related document may be used in situations where an individual is given legal authority or responsibility to care for another person or manage certain aspects of that person's affairs. Because these matters can involve significant personal, financial, medical, and legal responsibilities, the documents associated with guardianship should be handled with care.

At Raritan Valley Notary Services, we provide professional and confidential notarial services for guardianship-related agreements, affidavits, authorizations, certifications, consent forms, and other supporting documents when notarization is required.

During the notarization, we carefully verify the identity of the signer, confirm their willingness to sign, and perform the appropriate notarial act requested for the document. When an oath or affirmation is required, we administer it as part of the notarization process.

We understand that guardianship matters can involve children, elderly family members, individuals with disabilities, or other loved ones who may require assistance or protection. For that reason, every appointment is approached with patience, professionalism, discretion, and respect for everyone involved.

Our mobile notary service also allows us to meet at a private residence, attorney's office, healthcare facility, assisted-living community, or another appropriate location.

Because guardianship requirements vary depending on the circumstances and applicable law, we do not prepare guardianship agreements or provide legal advice. Clients should consult an attorney or appropriate agency regarding the legal requirements of their documents.

Protecting what matters most begins with handling important documents with care.
